What is the Artist Registry?

An important part of Gallery 1516’s mission is to act as an information clearinghouse for artists in Nebraska and the adjoining states: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wyoming

To serve that mission, Gallery 1516 developed the Artist Registry. The goal is to create a public database of Nebraska and regional artists. Joining the Registry allows artists to create a profile featuring a brief artist statement or bio, a link to their website, and sample images of their artwork. The public can browse and search profiles to discover new artists and learn more their work.

Artists can join our Artist Registry any time. We do not sell the Registry information; you decide whether we share your profile with the public. There is no charge to be included in our Artist Registry and you can opt out at any time. Click below to join or view the Registry.

Note: The Registry is NOT an application for exhibition at Gallery 1516. Any official applications or calls for artists will be announced via email and social media.
