Previous Exhibition - Broghammer/Sosso

Gallery 1516 will schedule exhibitions of Nebraska and regional artists at no charge to the artist. These will include work for sale with all proceeds going to the artist. Artists must submit application to the Gallery in advance.

Broghammer/Sosso: Birds & Wire

April - June, 2014

This exhibition included the artwork of Nebraska Artists Joe Broghammer and Larry Sosso. Broghammer offered new paintings that feature primarily an edgier take on his signature “Flock of Joe” bird collection. Sosso’s work is more of a retrospective, including pieces that date back to 1980...also showing a collection of drawings and prints as well as his more familiar and graceful wire sculpture.
